The Nebraska Department of Natural Resoursces and NeFSMA are excited to bring you this workshop in conjunction with the NeFSMA Annual Conference. During this course, attendees will learn the basics of substantial damage requirements under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), as well as more advanced topics such as:
Attendees will also gain valuable hands-on experience with conducting in-field substantial damage inspections using real world examples; a training format that has not been offered before by the NeDNR Floodplain Management team
Continuing Education Credits will be available for Certified Floodplain Managers.
This workshop is free but you do need to register.

We will be back at Awarri Dunes Golf Course, just outside Kearney, NE on July 16, 2025. Then join us for the NeFSMA Networking Social at the Younes Conference Center North at 7 pm where the top golfers and flag prize winners will be recognized.

Registration fee is $75 per person. This includes the cart and driving range. Mulligans will be available to purchase at the event. You may register as an individual or you may add guest registrations for a whole team. Please indicate if you need to be placed on a team or will be part of another team. Registration is non-refundable (but transferable) unless the tournament is canceled due to inclement weather. Please complete registrations by July 11, 2025.
Structure of Tournament:
Tourney rules will be read prior to the first tee time. Though your tee time will be announced prior to the event, it is expected all participants will arrive before 1:00 PM.
